The Cost of Conflict

As of tonight, President Trump may speak again.  He has been trying,
with all of those around him, to bring the IRAN  WAR to an end.  I am
praying that he has come up with a treaty that will be accepted.  I believe
everyone is praying that.
I just returned from the movie Hoppers.  Our current world seems to have
many similarities.  It will take a God sent miracle for the end to occur, however,
it is possible.  The bad guys have been squished like in the movie.  Now
it is how to end the war with things in place to prevent the need of another conflict.
1.)  The Iranian army is around 650,000.  The men have to join around age 18 to 19.
2.)  There are 93,000,000 Iranian citizens.  I am guessing few parents want their children to
           be involved in this war.
3.)  This is a well trained army without the supplies we have…  They have witnessed
           severe destruction.
4.)  If every bomb hit its mark, and one person died per bomb….that is over 10,000 dead
If 5 die per bomb that is over 50,000 dead.  The average family size in Iran is over 3.
that means the deaths could have had a direct effect on over 100,000 more people.
5.)  Those in charge of Iran know we can do worse.  We can blow up their bridges and their
electricity.  That will take so much to repair to come of age again.  Some areas of
Itan have heavy snow in winter and temperatures below -10 degrees F.  Other areas
may not be as bad, however, imagine living with no electricity.  How many more will parish.
6.)  It is a very tough situation our president finds himself in.   Hopefully, even if he says he will,
he may not have to destroy essential parts of the country.  This will pay off after the war ends.
7.)  Even if 95% of the Iranians are against this war, the fear of being shot by a few is still there.  It
will possibly take some very brave people, possibly sacrificing   their lives, to change the
                     government.
8.)  I believe, like in the movie Hoppers, that if some stand up in Iran for good, the rest of the country
will follow and be happy they did.  Over 90% of the country is Shia Islam which believe in
a forgiving God.  Believing in a forgiving God could possibly allow them to forgive what has
happened both by their leaders that are left within their country and with other counties.
9,) Again, it would seem that most Iranians are not “Bad Guys”.  I believe our side knows
this.  We know we are fighting a small % of Iranians, that are not good people.  Hopefully
we have neutralized the worse and have found those we can work with.
10.)  I pray tonight’s meeting if there is one, and future meetings will be about how the war is ending.
                  Amen.
